Graphic Design Work

This page is to give you an example of some of the designs I've created in the past for projects or just for fun in my spare time, I really hope you like them.

Logo For T-Shirt.jpg

Geek Bike Build

This is a design I have created for a future YouTube series I wish to film where I purchase a small inexpensive motorcycle and change it into the ultimate geek on two wheels machine.

I was inspired by the retro designs and how they would mesh together with modern technology and aesthetics related to geek culture.

Alien Invasion

This design was initially to go onto clothing inspired by the futuristic yet somehow retro styles of all the great 80's sci-fi films.

Save the Sasquatch

Here is a fun design I created as a project for a clothing range of tongue in cheek preservation society prints. The theme was Bigfoot was real and was endangered so I came up with a society to protect them and their habitat.

Retro 50's Sci-Fi Comic

When I was younger B movies were still a great thing being shown on late night TV. So I thought why not create my own, with all the silliness and absurdity they had, make it funny yet almost believable. Then I designed it in a cheap comic book style with a badass protagonist!

Swinging 60's

I gave myself a design brief for a 1960's music tour of America, one you've seen in the history archives and thought it would look good on the back of a distressed T-Shirt or Hoodie. I kept it simple with the lithograph style to look like it had been printed thousands of times.

Cute Squirrel

I love Japanese design and the use of all their cute animals in advertising so I thought about creating a range of cute animals but with attitude for a clothing line.

Panda 2000.jpg

Attitude Panda

This is the second in my series of Japanese inspired cute company mascots with attitude. don't mess with this Panda!

Rice Rice Baby

Inspire by the Japanese culture of Chibi I created a design for a T-shirt that I actually wear, this was a super cute design showing the chibi aspect of the rice bowls whilst incorporating a bit of 80's reference as well.

Gravity sucks 2000.jpg

Gravity Sucks!

A T-shirt design for all us nerds out there with the common misconception that gravity sucks objects where in actual fact it is a force that attracts objects to one another. If you were wearing the science t-shirt you wouldn't need to explain it to another person.

Camping is a Legitimate Strategy

A design inspired for all you gamers out there! Where you like to be sniping from one point all the time. This design was for a range of gaming T-Shirts I created inspired by first person shooter games and designed in an ultra simplistic style I like to call (just drawn in class)

Nerdy Goodnes 2000_edited_edited.jpg

Full of Nerdy Goodness

A T-Shirt design I created for my range of Nerdy, Geek and Gamer clothing. Inspired by a UK business but adapted to fit what I wanted its a parody take on many different products but actually has nothing to do with them.

Neon 80's

This design was created with the inspiration of the shiny 80's Neon and Noir nightclubs. A Retro design showing an 80's boombox but glowing in the style of Neon lighting.

50's Sci-Fi Atomic Fuel Sign

Inspired by the retro futuristic view of the end to the energy crisis and the idea that Nuclear fuel was the way of the future I designed this old fashioned fuel sign rusted and decaying as it would appear in a post apocolyptic world

Brain Drain

Everything these days needs charging up which is why I created this design Brain Drain, as our brains are so used to all the modern technology to help us survive everyday life at some point they too will need a charge to keep us going

arcade White A4 Print Version 2000.jpg

Distressed Arcade

This design I created to represent the past glories of the arcades and arcade machines. I originally designed it be on a T-Shirt and gave it a distressed look so that even though it is on brand new clothing it looks like it cam from the original competition.

Monkey Logo

I set myself a goal of designing a new company logo for a fictitious video production company who specilised in urban filmaking and came up with a logo for mad monkey studios. I wanted to keep it simple but get across the whole company eithos and make it memerable as well.

Choose Your Weapon

This is a T-Shirt design I created to highlight that even though some people in the gaming community are very vocal about only using one platform or system, a lot of us out there just prefer to have fun and it doesn't matter if you use one, two, three or even more forms of gaming system we're here to have fun! I also liked the simplistic design of this, emphasizing the rough lines and simplistic approach.

My Friend Dude!

This design I created for a good friend of mine who's known as (you guessed it) Dude. He's an old school skater and adventurer and I created this design (as well as built him a longboard) so he could have his own clothes.

Extra Life ATM 2000.jpg

Extra Life Cash Machine

This is a gamer design I created as we could all do with a machine to give us an extra life at the push of a button. There is also a secret old school cheat code for the pin number for any older gamers and nerds to nod at you out of respect!

Open World Gaming Logo

Here is a design I created for am imaginary gaming group I created as an exercise in logo creation. The breif was simple, monotone but needs to get the style of gaming across with just a glance.

Open World Hipster.png
gREETINGS FROM MARS.png

Mars Postcard

This was a little project to use both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create a postcard from the red planet. I gave it a worn out tattered look to feel like it was old and had travelled long distance.

Pop Culture Reference

Re-designed my YouTube logo to reference Stranger Things and It's entry into popular culture. I had intentions on creating a YouTube series discussing the popular Netflix show but as of yet the project remains on the back boiler

New Banner 1b (1).jpg

YouTube Banner

This is a bright and cheery design I created for my YouTube banner that heads my channel. I wanted something that included textures and little simple icons that showed some of the tings my channel was about whilst using the coulours i had chosen.

In Design 2 Page Spread

Here is a mock article I designed and wrote about my early days of gaming and what it has meant to me. It was also a way to refresh my skills in Adobe InDesign
